Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Affordable Business Solutions LLC, doing business as My Top Techs collects when you use My Personal PI and how it is protected.

Information about you (the account holder)

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash).
• Billing: your subscription plan and status. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
• Security records: sign-in times, IP addresses, and actions such as revealing an ID number or exporting data. You can see your own activity history in Settings.
• Your sign-up location (country), used only to confirm the Service is offered where you are.

Records you create

The records you enter about people, businesses and organizations are encrypted before they are stored. They are visible only to you. We do not sell, share, rent, pool or search them for any commercial purpose, and other customers can never see them.

To support search and safety features, we store keyed one-way "fingerprints" of certain values (such as names, phone numbers and ID numbers). These cannot be turned back into the original values.

When we may review account contents

We may review the contents of an account only to investigate suspected misuse, protect a person's safety, enforce our Terms, or respond to valid legal process. Every review requires the administrator's hardware security key and a written reason, is read-only, and is permanently recorded in an audit log. See our Law Enforcement Request Policy.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Our sign-up and sign-in pages use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated bots.

Service providers

• Stripe (payments)
• Cloudflare (bot protection on sign-up and sign-in forms)
• Our hosting provider in the United States, where data is stored encrypted

To confirm sign-ups come from the United States, we look up the country of your IP address in a database stored on our own server (IP Geolocation by DB-IP). Your address is not sent to anyone for this check.

Retention and deletion

• You can export your data or delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your records.
• If your subscription ends, your records are permanently deleted 30 days later unless you restart your plan.
• Information may be preserved longer when legally required or when needed to protect someone's safety.
• Encrypted backups are kept for a limited time and then overwritten.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, strong password hashing, account lockout, rate limiting, hardware-key protection for administrative access, and an append-only audit log. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.
