Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of My Personal PI (the "Service"), provided by Affordable Business Solutions LLC, doing business as My Top Techs ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States. The Service is offered only to customers in the United States.

2. What the Service is, and is not

My Personal PI is a private records-organization tool. You enter and manage your own information. We do not supply information about people, and we do not verify anything you enter.

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You may not use the Service, or any information in it, to decide anyone's eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. We are not affiliated with any government or law enforcement agency.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the information you enter, and for having a lawful right to collect, keep and use it.
• You must comply with all laws that apply to you, including privacy, anti-stalking, harassment, identity-theft and licensing laws (for example, private investigator licensing in your state).
• You must keep your password secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
• One account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in.

4. Plans, free trial and billing

• Each plan starts with a 7-day free trial, limited to a small number of records. A payment card is required to start the trial. One free trial per customer.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged for the plan you chose, and the subscription renews automatically each month or year until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number.
• If a subscription ends or a payment fails, your account is locked. You can still sign in to restart your plan or export your data. Records in a locked account are permanently deleted 30 days after access ends.

5. Reviews for safety and misuse

Your records are private. To protect people's safety, investigate suspected misuse, enforce these Terms, or comply with legal process, we may review the contents of an account. Such reviews are limited, recorded in a permanent audit log, and described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms and may preserve information when legally required or to protect someone's safety.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change features or these Terms; we will notify you of material changes by email or in the Service.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

8. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from information you enter or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or the law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina and applicable federal law.
